Our first in an ongoing Reality Check series: The ridiculousness of Ines Sainz.
first let’s get this out-of-the-way:
She’s a looker no doubt about it. Why do i say that? Because she’s dressed to impress. Not in a professional manner, but in a teenager going to the mall, or at best a reporter for MTV on the spring break sessions. This is the feminist b.s. that has been spilling out for ages, women should be allowed to wear what they want when the want without being subjected to sexual advances. Come on. Not reality. We men want to have sex with you, all of you, well all the attractive ones. Always. Period. Accept it and move on.
Next, although the men who are being accused of should be professional in their demeanour as well, as they are professionals too – cat calls, whistles and prolonged stares are not harassment. Just goes to show how messed up girls are in their rationalizations. If she showed up naked, were the men not supposed to react? Can she wear anything? Point is, dress appropriately or keep girls out of the locker room. I mean why does her employer let her dress like that? Sex sells. Well honey expect to get stung if you stick your hand in the bee hive.
Look i’ve had a lot of wanted and unwanted attention from both girls and guys in my life, and yes it can make you uncomfortable, but it also makes you’re confidence shoot through the roof, so i’m not buying the harassment crap.
Reality check sweetheart, i wouldn’t take you seriously no matter what you are doing or wearing.

agreed!!! if she didnt want the attention she shouldnt have dressed that way!!!
This is the same rationale that says “if a woman is out late or wearing something revealing she deserves to be raped.” She shouldn’t have dressed like that. But players are quick to say “it’s a business” well act like you’re in a work place. It’s fine that men want to “have sex with all attractive women” but keep your cat calls, sexist comments, etc. to yourself and if need be to a whisper to one of your teammates.
Not for one minute do I believe that you’ve written any books. Who did your spelling and grammar checks? Do you even know how to work a shift key? *eyeroll*
I do believe that she wasn’t the one who was bothered by all of this. She said herself that she didn’t notice/hear what was being said. It was other reporters on the field and in the lockeroom that were offended.
Maybe she does want the attention, maybe she doesn’t. Of course, there is a culture difference here as well.
I’m worried about the stupidity that blinds you all guys. Worried it could become a sickness and spread all around the world. I pray to god I don’t live to see that day. First of all, she was dressed with tight jeans and a simple blouse. No cleavage or anything; second of all, she didn’t filed the complaint against the team, the other reporters on the dressing room did. So if you want some credibility or at least don’t want to be labeled as an idiot person who just thinks he’s cool because he can use a computer to talk bad about another person, then check again your information. I’m sorry about myself for having to waste my time writing to someone like you, but i think this time its worth it.
Editor Donlak: I’m refferring more to the fact that women think they can do what ever they want with out consequences, whether the consequences should or should not happen is irrelevant. What is relevant is that if she wore that to an interview and she was a loved one of yours, wouldn’t you tell her to wear something more appropriate? Well this isn’t typically professional attire. We’re not saying she was dressed like a slut, and we’re not saying she wasn’t. Get real people. As men we know respect is earned, not a God given right, however the feminists think other wise. We just want a reality check. Women’s enormous sense of entitlement knows no bounds.
Anonymous,
I don’t have an editor, and I write fast, who cares about shift keys when the English language is evolving? My style and grammar are representitive of a coloqial way of speaking. Maybe you could see that if you read more than a couple of pages of eat pray and love.
Alex nice job!! To the person that said “culture difference”
You are a fucking retard!!! You must be an inbred from the mid west.. Who never walked around the block and never seen anything in your life.. Plain black and white is what you see.. I feel so sorry for your eyes!!!!
ines sainz works for telemundo, a mexican network that only hires hot mexican girls if they wear thongs or tight outfits on air. It is a joke, and Ines Sainz is a joke. Do playboy already.

I thought it was just me that was a bit bothered by your post, but apparently after reading the comments, quite a few people feel the same way.
As a women that gets harassed by men and I do check them with the quickness, because some of the looks we get you would think we were walking around in a thong or something. Men need to control themselves and first of all behave.
Her outfit is not at all provocative, but if you’re professional and she’s a professional, you can have a women walk around naked and still be respectful. The team is obviously not professional enough to be respectful to women that walk wear tight jeans and a tank.
Men grow up and stop blaming harassment on women’s outfits.
people fail to see the circumstance of the situation. She went into a lockerrom full of naked grown men, dressed like she was. Howcome there isn’t a situation where men go into a woman’s lockerroom…oh yeah because its not allowed. Double fucking standard.
She in no way should be able to walk around naked in a professional setting that is not porn or stripping. Check yrself plz.
Child Please!!!!!! Some of u sound really IGNORANT!!!!!!! Women should be able to dress anyway they choose without some sick a—–hole thinking that she is asking to be raped. How stupid does that sound. Men have been doing it for years, and because a women chooses to dress sexy “she’s asking for it”…get out of here you people are all crazed……..R U serious. People like you need to go back to the stone age with your immature ways of thinking…….Hello World we this is 2010. If Tom Cruise daughter Suri @ 4years old can wear whatever she wants heels at that, then surely no one should have a problem with the way Ines Sainz is dressing. With so many other issues going on in the world today, Really we are going to be concerned with this. You People need to get a life……Seriously!
hahaha look at this video of her being interviewed. http://www.ihatethemedia.com/ines-sainz-just-cant-understand-why-jets-would-harass-her
“My style and grammar are representitive of a coloqial way of speaking. ”
It’s colloquial. You may have written novels, but certainly none that anyone outside of your immediate sphere has ever heard of. Moving on, Ines Sainz did not file the complaint, that was the other women in the locker room who were offended that the cat calls were not being directed at them. She was not dressed inappropriately by day to day standards but was not dressed in a professional manner either. The problem, she’s just smoking hot and has a booty that makes grown men drool. Not her fault. Jets players crossed the line, but that kind of stuff is prone to happen in a locker room full of testosterone pumped ego maniacs with a head coach that encourages chest thumping behavior. This should not be a surprise, and it’s not as big of a deal as it has been made out to be. Additionally, Ines did nothing wrong, she’s not suing anyone, admitted that it was flattering, and she hasn’t made a fuss out of any of it beyond tweeting that she was embarrassed. As such, she should not be the target of this kind of nonsensical rant, end of story.
U have got to be kidding? You are comparing cat calls to Rape?
It is not a normal business. Normal business’s dont have 53 athletic, muscular naked men in meetings.
Read the title- “Reality check” it means to get real.
Sorry I’m busy working and responding to u on an iPhone, not spell checking every word. And I never claimed to b famous or known.
As for another comment. Man or woman dressed improperly they won’t be taken serious. Men don’t have a problem with this concept however.
How do you get from cat calls or comments to Rape? That is a HUUUUUGE leap and totally ridiculous.
You need to get a life if you think for one minute that because a guy make a comment rape is the next thing on his mind? WOW talk about a sexist fucking statement!!!
“First of all let’s get this out of the way:”
How about a little context? That is NOT what she was wearing on the day the alleged harassment occured. That picture is from the 2007 Super Bowl!
While I agree that some whistling and stares from the boys, in a locker room, really doesn’t constitute harassment in my eyes, she admitted that there were things said that she didn’t hear. Other members of the media, presumably Americans (no cultural issues there), were the ones that initiate the complaint. And you didn’t mention that the HEAD COACH was allegedly purposely throwing footballs at/near her so players would have to run over and retrieve them. Changes things a bit doesn’t it?
I think she’s just trying to get in the pants of my man Mark Sanchez.
Inez claims she didn’t file the complaints and that it didn’t bother her but she lit the fire by taking it to her twitter and talking about how embarrassed she was. Every picture I’ve ever seen of her she’s wearing skin tight jeans and either showing her belly or cleavage. Do you think she would have that job if men didn’t want to look at her? No I’m sure it’s all about her love and knowledge of the game right?
It’s not the same rationale as she deserves to be raped at all. It’s the same rationale as if I wear that outfit out to the club or anywhere in general I’m looking to impress and to get guys to look at me. I’m looking for flirting, attention, and most of all catcalls!
No she doesn’t, she works for TV Azteca in Mexico. Telemundo is a spanish channel in the United States. All those pics of her are from Futbol games she covers in Mexico, i don’t think there is any pic of what she was wearing when she went to the jets. She was there to get an Interview of Mark Sanchez who is a big deal down in Mexico. This is not good publicity for the NFL. They are looking to expand their product to Mexico where the NFL is growing.
The majority of these guys are spoiled millionaires who have gotten away with that type of behavior all their life because they are good at football. How many of them are married? They all attended college for at least 2 years and they cant hold a hard on when they see a pretty chick? Grow up fellas
First of all, get your facts straight, shes not the one thats asking for all of this attention. She was called by the NFL to be a witness to the complaint that was filed by people that heard the players say things about her in the locker room. She is used to the attention and it doesnt bother her. She knows shes beautiful but that doesnt mean she should be disrespected by men who think they can just say whatever they want.
This anachronic piece of crap is like hearing a rapist justify himself cause the girl he raped was dressed sexy!!! What a caveman you are
Edit from donlak: not even close. Stop overreacting. I merely am pointing out there is reactions to how one presents oneself, dress and attire is a major one of these factors. I’d be on a dudes case if he showed up in a hawaiin shirt and shorts – but would you defend the man like u defend this broad?
I guess we’ll find out how it goes when Suri is interviewing Michael Vick in Detroit this weekend.
LOL she’s even wearing a shirt on Fox News with half a tit hanging out!!!
Her argument is invalid
She loves her some futbol

Wow, what a bunch of meaningless sentences. You’re an idiot, Dennis. Here’s to you winning a Darwin Award…
What a stupid post.
Ines Sainz has been working with sport figures all over the world for many years. And not only some mini-stars as Jets QB Mark Sáchez, she has interviewed Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, etc.
And this is te first time that has problems.
So don´t tell us that she is ridiculous, you seem very ignorant writing things like this.
My site might not be your stlye, but check it out if your looking for some depth. It is called The Greater Reality.

What’s you’re point? That other cultures are more accepting of complete disregard of social common sense?
LOL. Bottom line – women in this country will always be seen as sexual beings. It doesn’t make it any better when we think that way about ourselves. But just because that is the case doesn’t mean she should be subjected to certain behaviors.
And your point about it “not being a normal business” is pointless. It’s still a BUSINESS. And business traits, attitudes and behaviors should still be taught and enforced and acted out while at work.. regardless if you’re in a room of 53 other naked men or 53 men in suits. Yes, we do have to take responsibility on how we want to be seen but it doesn’t start or stop with just us. No we shouldn’t come to work looking like we’re about to bar hop but men too need to grow the eff up too.
I doubt you would be on his case if he showed up in a hawaiian shirt – in your example the man in the hawaiian shirt you still respected him enough to keep his title as “man” but followed up by calling Ines a broad.. lol. I’m sure you wouldn’t be on his case..
Oh my! Welcome to what I went through all day yesterday! I feel you and we have pretty much the same point on all of this. to read my view..here you go http://fnkybee.wordpress.com/2010/09/14/it-is-what-it-is-when-you-wear-what-you-wear/
I have this logic: If you let your house door open, would you be blame if burglar comes in?
