Outside of frat houses or university campuses, you might find a few girls you are trying to pick up, or hook up with, or date, will send you a few defenses if you are a single man of moderate to good looks who is gifted with seduction. This happens mostly for guys over 25, under 25 being single is pretty normal, even the girls are fucking everything they can, but when you start getting past the 25 year mark and are single, there are a few things that you will have to overcome suddenly, that you didn’t have to before. She will say this on some form: “So (name), why are you single?”

Let’s break down why she is asking this question.

1) There must be something wrong with you. She will never ask the above  question to a guy who’s awkward or not attracted to. She will know why he’s single, so you’re first realization should be, she’s attracted to you. Keep all your red flags down. Be cool, aloof, and interesting, escalate slowly.

2) She will assume you are a player. This can be the first in a series of is he a player shit tests that you will be pummeled with, if she is really attracted to you, meaning, you will be fucking her soon, if you don’t fuck it up. Tell her you’re picky, tell her your last relationship was complicated, you are looking for the right girl but you just haven’t found her yet. All pretty common, but if you are really good with girls, and she really wants to fuck you, it won’t be enough, you will really have to comfort her by doing your best to find out what she likes and relating to it. This is a difficult thing to do, i’ve been blown out on not comforting enough many of times. Reassuring you are not a player is a must, but over doing it can do worse than just deflecting. Deflecting it constantly is a good option if you can keep changing the subject with fun and interesting things to talk about, she’ll soon forget about it. Then escalate quickly when isolated.

3) Fear of Commitment. She realizes that you aren’t fooled by the veil of fantasy that girls are innocent and sweet – meaning, she knows she can’t win you over, sink her claws into you, and make you her Beta provider. She will give you a lot of emotional shit tests to see if you can be controlled. She wants to have a man who will be fooled by her so she can have her emotional needs met – sexual needs probably are being met with an alpha, or will be when you’re in a relationship. If you catch yourself in this situation, shift gears immediately, start escalating, being aloof, being a jerk, get into situation 1 or 2 fast, or bail. You can bang her that night if you escalate, and play the ‘boyfriend’ material that night, but it will be steeped in dramatics and expectations. If you can’t stomach not talking to her again, don’t pump and dump. This one you can keep around for awhile, so if she’s hot, you can lead her along if you play the aloof game. Being hard to get is the best reaction to these tests. Disqualify yourself to her, and she’ll relax with the above shit tests. Just be wary, she will start testing you again if you date her.

Of course you can always play the ‘i’m not actually single, but my girlfriend and i are having problems.” – that’s a dangerous dark side game that you need to think a bit in the future if you want to date her. If not, just start referring to the end of your last relationship as if it was currently happening. Then…
