Shit tests have been explained before, mostly on how to pass them, in order to sink your ship into girl’s whirlpool – but what are shit tests exactly? They are two fold, one a social measuring stick: do you speak coolese? and two: quite simply a dominance test.
It has been said that girls dole out these in order to test your alpha cred, but it’s more simple than that, and it’s more specific to the girl than that – one of the problems game has is the ‘image’ some guys get of all players, that they have to wear fuzzy hats or become a douche bag – it’s a pretty common trope that exists in modern media portrayals of any player, he’s always got to be irredeemable asshole, or prick, or douche, always represented as a guy that the main characters or audience wants to punch in the face, due to jealousy mostly, and their desire for women to not be attracted to the aloof cocky bastard who shows little concern and empathy to others. But like everything in art and media, this is but one reflection, the reflection of the outlier – the person not in the know – sometimes this trope goes to the extreme and into the ridiculous, some times it’s a bit more accurate, and always depends on the writer’s/directors understanding of social dynamics and his own success with women.
That being said, if you are here reading this site not wanting to actually become a player, but just be able to close the deal on the chicks you dig, and not become something you’re not, well you came to the right place. There is a certain extreme that you need to get to in order to become a cold hearted cad, and it is a disregard of anything deeper with girls than it is with a traditional beta with romanticism coursing through his veins. I’ve known these romantic men, and I have known them to be some what successful with chicks. If you choose not to be a player with a high number count, you don’t need to, but you would be wise to listen and watch what makes chicks fall over themselves with these men, and learn a little of their game. For romantic guys always stumble at the same thing. For some reason being a romantic beta means that you purposely ignore shit tests or dominant tests and not in the way that would be perceived as passing it.
Dominant tests, or shit tests, are the thing that will keep a girl around, and get her in the first place – a lot of men out there fluke out with some girls and pass them without realizing it, and bang the girl or have a relationship with them, but somewhere down the road, unawares of what has transpired, he finds himself in trouble with his girl, cheated on, or being dumped, divorced, downgraded, emasculated and bitched at. He can’t understand why this has suddenly happened, and where he went wrong.
Some of us players can take the shit tests or dominant tests to the extreme, to always being on guard against them, and never giving in to them, in order to up hold our alpha cred, or never be seen to be weak in a girls eyes, knowing that doing so means less attraction – and it’s true, mostly. There does need to be, in a longer term relationship, some occasional giving in to some degree, and some perceived compromise of power – however, the true dominant tests, as we know them, shit tests, are the ones needed to pass – for they are like little land mines planted where you can’t see them, don’t pay attention and you could blow yourself up with out even knowing what happened.
Most shit tests are subtle, to the untrained eye, she’s just joking, or she’s being serious – it is always both, which makes passing them so difficult for most men. They don’t know how to take them, doesn’t know how to respond to her flaking, her trying to take control or the lead, her underhanded comments, her texting in front of you, her mention of other men, etc etc. Some men, the disrespect boils until it’s unleashed, for some they pass it off like it’s just a joke, or nothing, and both show the man for what he is, controlled by her actions, or more importantly, unable to dominate her.
How a girl shit tests you is her doing you a big favor, she’s given you a treasure map to her golden chest, an x marks the spot, now get there you big oaf. Dominance over a woman isn’t about pounding your chest of being physically dominant (sex, yeah of course) it’s about being able to display that you are the one dominating her, leading her, not being controlled by her. It is the key for her to relax and give in to you, when passed her valve is released and she can be her true female self, rather than the shielded fem warrior she’s trying to show. These tricks of hers is what keeps unworthy man away from her and they are very effective. You shouldn’t resent them, it is in their nature.
The more shit tests you need to pass, the more dominant you need to display, the more you are failing to dominate her in her eyes, the more you need to take control, etc. The less shit tests you need to pass, the better you are doing, and you don’t need to worry about your alpha cred with her.

Very true. The term ‘shit test’ is just bad nomenclature, ‘dominance test’ would be much more accurate description.

Man, shit tests are a mark of incongruency. Many puas portray certain qualities in their routines that they don’t have. If you are able to make her feel that you have those qualities she won’t be testing you. Shit tests in my opinion are not something you, as a valuable male, have to find sollutions to. You “pass the test” by actually being natural… your response will reassure her that you really are what you portray being, because you act natural. I hope it makes sense, I’m a little tired.
So there you have it. When it comes to shit tests the only way to pass is to dump her triflin’ ass!
This is spot on man, great insights. I’ve had to use a fine grained sieve at times with women, trying to parse through their passive tests. It’s important to keep these basic principles in mind at all times and beware.
Often when you think a girl will be disappointed by your saying ‘no’ to her about something, she’ll be the most turned on and looking up to you.

Reason being: Most people will tell you that behind every arrogant face is a desire to over-compensate for a fear of being inadequate. The results will vary; she might blow up in your face and make it her mission for the evening to embarrass you beyond all reason; she will ask you to LEAVE NOW; she will slap you (one threw her beer at my face – at least she had the courtesy to hang onto her glass), or she leaves. I recall very few successful interactions when dealing with shit tests in the overly confident manner. Be forewarned.
