How much longer before the feminists attack and dismantle this long standing tradition for kids? I mean an old man who shows too much interest in children while mrs. Claus stays home and takes care of the home and elves? Such patriarch cultural conditioning right?
How long before miss Claus takes over for ol’ Saint Nick and delivers presents for him as a strong independent woman? How much longer do children have of keeping some of its last innocence in the world? How much longer before all of our cultures stories are re-written to have a positive make role model or inspiration are completely removed for the sake of gender neutrality?
Who the hell would want to live in that world?
I suppose the most likely of this Santa business is that he’ll just fade into the background much like Jesus has in Christmas for secular folks. I’m sure it’s happening already, heck people view Christmas these days as a chore or obligation rather than getting into the ol’ spirit of Christmas. We live in an age where sentiment is looked down upon as weak or foolish. We as a culture have lost its innocence at seem to rejoice in it.
For me, I still want to believe in hope, a little magic, and a little justice. So, with this I leave you…

For the record: the german minister for family and stuff (Kristina Schröder, female, 35) suggested this week that God should not be referred to as masculine but as neutral.
