Currently writing from the Balkans, where male dominated culture is strong, and we don't have women screaming oppression. Both sides know their roles. The deal is that capitalism is pushing it's foot forward making it impossible for men to be dominant bread earner of the house. Years of socialism put our equality issues way ahead of the curve of "Developed" European Countries.

But gender roles aren't in weird imbalance, like in USA, where I follow closely what's going on. And from this perspective, man it's ugly... Don't blame you for your loss of faith occasionally, because it certainly feels discouraging to the least.

Hang in there, another Alpha making his way to the new world.

People don't have the luxury of Betty Friedan's (or even Simone de Beauvoir's) soul-sapping ennui anymore. While the economy slowly strangles itself, the material wealth we expect will make us happy slips away. Of course, it was never about the big houses, pricey cars, or new smartphones; rather, a good life is staunch friends and a healthy family.

If we weren't so reflexively Epicurean, people might, ironically, be happier.

Thank you for the linkage! I am in a very different place than redpillwifey. By all the standards of feminism, I could have been their poster girl, but it wasn't leading to life I wanted or the relationships I needed. When I discovered the Red Pill, a light came on. I am happier now and my interactions with everyone, not just men, are better for the most part.

With men, I used to constantly find myself thinking, "He needs to grow a set." Now, I see that if I have the proper frame, even mostly beta guys man up in proportion to the amount of respect they are shown.

Redpillwifey, calls out the other Red Pill Lady bloggers perfectly! "really great, smart, snarky women". I have to agree 100% with that, the red pill ladies I follow are exactly that, Hopefully, we can help turn the tide against feminism so it's easier for all of us!
