Well it’s finally here, it’s been a while in the making, but my novel The Refugee is about to be dropped on Friday May 24th, 2013. If you’ve followed me closely you may be aware of this over the past few years, while I mentioned getting it ready for publication. It’s been an arduous journey getting it from old typed out manuscript to an electronic file, and yes that’s how long ago I wrote the damn thing. It’s been collecting dust for far too long, so now it will finally see the light of day this Friday. It will be released only in eBook format, through Kobo, and you will see the link here on Friday.

The novel is a piece of fiction, based on my experiences as a young man, full of piss and vinegar, a story of a young man trying to drop out of society, and live as a writer in the sub-terrain. Although it’s an honest and earnest piece, it’s also full of naivety of a young writer, however many of you faithful readers will see some of the same things you enjoy about my writing and insight. If you wanted to know what it was like for a young upstart Donlak, this will be your chance to get to know him.

I am both proud and horrified of the book, as any artist I think is, deep down, but I welcome all reactions, horrid and glorious as they come.

And there will be more to follow.

Let’s face it, Game is essentially for the introvert types, and guys lacking in confidence, at least with women – sure game is used by everyone, but for naturally confident and social men, it’s more of a refinement or tool to help convert more lays or build a bigger harem. The core audience though still remains the types I described above. Most new men seeking out game will be ones needing help.

It can be difficult remembering this when writing new posts. It feels like retreading old ground, and I don’t really consider myself a self help guru or anything like it, usually those types irritate the hell our of me. But it’s an important aspect of what I’ve been writing here, and it’s important to reach and be relevant to new readers, to the bigger picture of bringing balance to the force. Routine and redundant behavior is always a confidence killer, it slowly infects your mind, bit by bit, corroding your sense of accomplishment, greatness, usefulness and inspiration – it grinds you down, and eventually you get to a point where your confidence is just a pile sand.

Confidence is like a culture, a culture for you, your soul, your mind, your lifestyle, and it needs to be cultivated. You can only fake confidence for so long, at some point it needs to be real, but also, it’s something that can erode. As men we desire full blown confidence, we want, no need, that swagger. We are truly men when we have that swagger, the bravado and sense of strength, inner and outer, mental and physical.

To cultivate confidence look to the physical for a guide to cultivate it, if you start lifting weights you don’t start by benching 300 plus pounds, you start of small, and work your way up to a target. Each little step you take gives you a new stage, a new starting point, and more confidence. Same with game, same with confidence. If you’re lacking in confidence, start small, give yourself targets you can reach. Talk to one new girl, with no intention to bang her, just start by conversing, then next time, do it to two girls, etc. Give yourself something new to do, activities, hobbies, skills, and gradually increase your core to become a wealth of experience and knowledge.

And once you start, never stop.

Reading my blog, you will have found at times, I’ve been a bit pessimistic on the manosphere at large’s ability to change the world. If there was little hope for anything to actually happen, then what was the point of writing anything? At times in my life I have been guilty a with swinging for the fences mentality, and not seeing the success that getting on base can have in the long run. It’s been an ongoing issue in my life, and why many of my projects have sat around collecting dust, while I wait for the “right” time to release them to the world. I was procrastinating on a post on how I believe that the only way for the protectors of truth, was to get and promote women bloggers and writers who promote the red pill way of life. That until there was women writing blogs that were legitimate red pill, manosphere-like blogs, that there would never be acceptance of what we are trying to say, as it’s far to easy just to throw the misogynistic label at us and scream about our patriarchal tendencies. And women, the bulk of women, being followers, would be bullied by other women and beta white knights, and corporations and politicians wanting to cow tow to the PC crowd, to fall in line with the prominent feminist manifesto.

Women have been as big of victims as men have been under this barrage of feminist “you go girl” power grab, and a lot of women feel uncomfortable being just a regular feminine girl, they get called out on all sides to not allow herself to be limited to that which she feels comfortable, happy, and content being. If any feminist thinks that women are as strong and independent as men, then why has the absurd feminist narrative taken such a strong hold on the populace of women? Being that this was supposed to help all women, why are so many, while they silently bemoan the current culture, wonder what they’re supposed to do, other than give in to the narrative set out for them, like neatly pressed pants waiting for you on the bed in the morning? What’s a girl to do?

There have been a few girls who comment on my site and sites like it, that feel like they can speak out about how they agree with us, but there needed and needs to be more women taking more of a role on telling women there are other options than the feminist propaganda machine has told them, and the brainwashed men need to understand this too. Alpha men blasting beta’s and teaching truth always rubs the mass beta culture the wrong way – but women… women saying such things, gives the white knights something to consider… as they, like women, are followers, will start to open their horizons on how women should be treated, talked to, gamed, seduced, and celebrated. That holding women to men’s standards isn’t what women should be, as feminist would like them to be, which has led to an insufferable decline in femininity in its purest sense in the world, only replaced by nature in simpering wimpy men crying and whining about their feelings.

Well, what I have noticed recently, is that there are such women starting to reach out in the blog world, associating themselves with the red pill manosphere and talking real talk about men and women. And if we want to make a real impact to the world and restore some sanity and balance, I think we owe them some support and encouragement. Here are two blogs that I think could be the start of something more.

Here, and here.

If you are a younger man, or a man who’s actively dipping into the young 19-23 year old pool of chicks, then you’ve probably heard and/or are using snapchat. If you’ve never heard of it, it’s an app for your phone that allows you to send pictures that last on the receivers phone for a very short time, which does not allow the user to save the pictures – obviously instagram, twitter, and facebook were not enough for the little attention diva’s who are now growing up and they needed a new tool to garner much-needed attention from the men.

Here’s a funny how to video of gaming chicks on snapchat, there’s some good stuff in there even though it’s clearly a joke, and I hope that all of you wish to learn how to game a girl not into just getting some nude pics to jerk off to, but to actually close the real deal with them. None the less, it’s a good chuckle.

In the male literary world there has always been a place for men writing about sex, women, sex with women, rock and roll and drugs, etc. However the past versions of ourselves seemed to have something in this area that perhaps we lack. Soul, and in particular an ability or subconscious desire to romanticized said escapades of a Lothario or Don Juan. At some point getting girls, and trying to be god’s gift to women gets old – at the same time, this doesn’t really leave you either, men will always come back to his most primal basic desire, to pass on his genes to as many vessels as he can.

There’s another problem with our current times, and our collective attention deficit disorder leads us away from literature in its purest literary form. Gone are the great books and great writers, if they are around they’re buried in among the heaps of the thousands upon thousands of self published authors, status quo keeping authors hand-picked by clueless and frustrated book publishers, blog writers clogging the marketplace with millions of posts about the same thing. It’s difficult for things to take hold on any small portion of our culture, even harder for it to last any amount of time in our consciousness. Even movies, they’re even losing staying power, new technology makes watching older movies more difficult, leaving nostalgia as the primary source of returning to movies that helped shape your artistic or internal self – there is hype over new movies, then comes the climax of watching it, and then it’s on to the next one. There is little to no reflection on our society in the arts, something that makes us question our culture, push the boundaries, reveal our warts and shortcomings and/or speak to a generation(s) outside of the main stream. Well except blogs like this and the rest of the manosphere.

However, limiting oneself to just talking about girls, and getting girls, sex and so forth, will eventually lead one to a time in one’s life that you’ve said all you can say about a particular subject. Sure eventually you’ll have something to say about it, but by the time you might have something new to get off your chest your readers may have moved on. For a blogger constant new material is a must, for an author in a former time, it could be years before you wrote another book, but the audience will find you. These days, if you take too long before you write something new, you’ll be forgotten, and left for dead. There is only new in this current generation, there is little love for what was done before, we all need the new distraction. But why is this?

Our society has lost its soul, it is no longer a living breathing and growing being, it is a decaying, dying thing, hanging on to anything it can to feel vibrant and alive again, each new thing devoured and stripped bare and exhausted and shat out to make room for the next thing to distract us from the very fact that we don’t have any meaning to our lives. All of our distractions are necessary to avoid inner reflection and commitment to our own lives and what it might mean in the greater scope of things. If you want to really understand what I mean, when’s the last time you’ve had any sort of conversation or heard a conversation, or seen people contemplate what the meaning of life is? I’m not talking about religions zealots who preach on about the answers to life, but the philosopher in all of us, who in the rat race is actually taking the time to think about this in a serious way to make sense of the world around us? Where are our great books, our great minds, our great song writers, our great works of art that make us transcend our own world.

It would seem, seem, that as we take our cultural last breaths, transcendence has eluded us, and is no longer possible. But I refuse to believe that no one cares about such things. I would like to think there is a way out of this maze we’ve been trapped in for too long, and the minotaur will reveal himself long enough for us to slay him and follow the string out of the maze. Wait, was someone leaving string for us?

This is what a feminist looks like. (link is fixed.)

Be on alert with your vomit bags and ear plugs for even if you turn the volume down your ears will still bleed from the shrills she constantly makes. Better make sure any pets are 4 or 5 blocks away too, as they can hear at higher octaves than us, I wouldn’t want to see any animals hurt when watching this.

I couldn’t get all the way through it, I don’t believe you handle feminists by listening to them or even humoring them, simply ignoring them is the only way to deal with the. However I found one of her claims quite humorous. The one’s where she claims feminists are against paying alimony and the divorce laws in general being in favor of women. Right, the day I see a girl give back the money she gets in a divorce for this glory of the sisterhood, is the day I buy feminism as a legitimate movement and not a hate group.

Priceless. It does however point to how desperate they are getting because of men like moi calling them out on bullshit about seeking equality. Oh well, still difficult to look at, and even worse to listen to.

What is happiness?

Is it being content?
is it being in a good mood?
is it being secure?

is it all of these things combined?

Is it getting what you want?
Is it a sense of accomplishment?
Is it success?
Is it learning?
Is it being heroic?
Is it being generous?

Is it all of these things?

Roosh wrote an interesting article over at his site about chasing happiness, and how it turns into a fools errands as your sense of what will make you happy will shift as you accomplish what you had once thought would make you happy. And he’s correct, as human’s this tends to happen – at the same time, as humans, we are pretty bad at being humans. Meaning, we aren’t very good at actually understanding what life is all about. The meaning of life, etc etc.

Very few of us actually question what happiness really is. Most of us think certain things will make us happy, but we get caught up in emotional peaks and valleys, we get stuck on highs – some maintain a constant state of equilibrium, some are always down – all would probably give you the same answer to the question, are you happy? Usually it results in no (although not everyone would admit this answer publicly – for saying you’re unhappy, makes one appear weak or disempowered).

Some say happiness is a personal thing, what will make you happy may not make me happy. This is true on the surface, what pleases me, what i take pleasure in and enjoyment from, is certainly going to be unique to ones own quirks an interests and desires. But is happiness really just a fullfilling of desires? If so, why do we all suddenly get more desires as soon as we fullfill our desires that sometimes even made us obsessive?

Again, we need to ask what is actual happiness? I’ve known people, and I myself for an extended period of time have been always in a good mood, up beat, lots of energy, things went my way all the time, hell in life things have really been fairly easy for me, the odd time I do actually exert any effort usually produces even better results, but, hey I’m content to do things that are on the path of least resistance, since things generally always work out for me, so why change? Is this happiness? Is it energy? Being positive? I think there is many dissadvantages to living through life like this, you’re more likely to put yourself into dangerous situations by denying base emotional reactions like fear, doubt, etc. You are also less likely to be driven to do anythng worth while, thus dulling your character and your mind. Left to your own devices one might fail to survive. So is this actual happiness?

We have a culture that is obsessed with being happy, it gave birth to the Political Correct Police State because we can’t make anyone feel bad in our lives, we all deserve happiness. But again, do we even really know what that means? Can we even mutually agree on a definition of happiness?

Part of what makes our society seem so schizophrenic is this ambition to reach happiness. I beleive that what we think of happiness is much like paradise, a fantasy where we beleive we can get to, if we just do the right things, what’s neccessary to obtain it. Happiness seems fleeting because it doesn’t exist. Our moods can be happy, we can be happy and joyous in a moment, we can live good enjoyable lives with lots of things that make us feel proud, good and worthy. But that’s not happiness. Is it? If it is, in the sense that we all subconciously define it, why does said life lose it’s luster, it’s capacity to make us feel good, once we have lived it for just a bit too long?

Chasing happiness is just like chasing the dragon, we will destroy more peoples lives in our lust for finding the white whale that would undermine our actual hypothetical happiness, and we’ll keep chasing the tail over and over again, without ever attaining it.

Eventually as a species we may perhaps emotionally and mentally evolve out of this child like state. But we probably won’t, and we’ll all keep pursuing our happiness with little regard to mayhem it may or may not cause around us.

I have come across a message board discussing my truth about women series which you can check out and contribute if you like. It’s pretty small so far, and it sounds like it’s a favorable response, read: no feminists are on the message boards. I had not heard of this site before, but it looks interesting, in so much as they are referring to the immortal yours truly, which will always pique my interest.

Curious that many people say I sound bitter, which I find odd, as I’m as bitter as a well-ripened watermelon, I may speak harshly about women at times, and even to certain types of chicks, like feminists or finger wavers, but bitter I am not. At least not in my opinion, I certainly wanted a certain tone when I wrote it, but it wasn’t bitter. Of course my writing style has always been misunderstood, which I take great pride in.

Anyways, check it out here.
